This eye mask blocks out most light except for a bit by the nose but that is only really noticeable if you're in a room that is fairly bright. The adjustable headsrp is a nice touch but I don't know if it is all that necessary since the strap is already elastic and fits pretty snug without being too constricting.
My biggest problem is it slides around, even when the band is at its tightest and I have a pretty average to large head. I've had other eye masks with the same problem though, probably the slipping is more due to my chaotic sleep style than a design flaw.
I like that this does allow your eyelids to move freely, it makes it feel more like you're not wearing a sleep mask.
This may not be the perfect eye mask but it is the best one I have ever used and it's pretty affordable.
