Average Rating :

Rating : - impossible to fold up and store
I've had a few Aerobeds before and while the Intex feels more comfortable to sleep on due to the memory foam, I prefer Aerobeds more although I think air mattresses suck in general.

After deflating the Intex and following the folding instructions, it was almost impossible to get it into its storage bag. The folding instructions are not very clear and you have to observe the diagram figures very closely. I probably spent about an hour trying to squeeze all of the extra air out and fit it in the bag. All of the valves were open and yet I still had some air pockets.

The overall package in its storage bag is very bulky. We barely have space to store it. The aerobeds have been much more compact. If you are looking for comfort and have lots of storage space, then this bed is for you. If you rarely use the bed and value the space it is occupying, I would recommend something else.

It also sprang a leak from catching a nail.

I generally would not recommend buying a mattress online. Awhile ago, I purchased an Aerobed from Costco and when it sprang an internal leak and started bulging, I just brought it back and got a full refund. I think I had the bed for like two years and Costco took it back. Just make sure to keep your receipt. Paying a few dollars extra from a local Costco or any place that has a satisfaction guarantee is worth it. Your air mattress will fail. It is just a matter of time.
